cancellations + rescheduling

 Your appointment is important to us. This time is reserved specifically for you. We understands that schedule changes are sometimes necessary.  Therefore, we respectfully asks for 48 hours notice before rescheduling or cancelling an appointment. If the appointment is canceled or rescheduled less than 48hrs from the scheduled appointment time, a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service cost will be charged to your card on file.

SAME DAY CANCELLATIONS / NO SHOW: If the appointment is canceled or rescheduled with less than 24hr notice, or you simply do not show up, you will be charged the 50% cancellation fee. If this happens more than once, we reserve the right to deny reservation requests.

* If your card is not updated, and the payment for the cancellation fee does not go through, you will not be allowed to book until the fee is paid.

running late

Out of respect for the time of your stylist, and the clients scheduled after you, please arrive on time to your appointment. There is a 15 minute grace period allowed.

If you are running any later than 15 minutes your stylist reserves the right to adjust to a smaller service or reschedule to avoid running late for their following guest. In the event that your late arrival results in your appointment needing to be rescheduled, you will be charged the 50% cancellation fee.

services adjustments

We strive to offer guests the highest level of satisfaction. If you are having challenges with your cut or color and need an adjustment, notify your stylist within 7 days of your visit and they will be happy to correct the issue with no additional charge. Hair transformations can be shocking. In the event that the goal discussed during the consultation is achieved, but you decide the new look is not for you: Your stylist is happy to come up with a plan to achieve your new hair goal. In this situation, any follow up services will be at full price.*

refunds

Refunds are not offered on services, retail purchases, or cancellation fees and will gladly adjust services at no cost and exchange retail for something that would better suit your needs if notified within the above time frames.

payment

If your card is not updated, and the payment for the cancellation fee does not go through, you will not be allowed to book until the fee is paid. This is a cashless studio please make sure your card number is updated before arrival for a seamless checkout.

inquires

Please allow 24 hours to respond to inquiries. Any requests outside of operationg hours will be addressed on thr following business day. All direct messages on social media platforms or via text message will be redirected to website.

extra guests, children & pets

Sonya Maxwell Hair Studio is a small space. Therefore no additional people or will be allowed to accompany clients to their appointment due to the unsafe and potentially hazardous. Pets are unfortunately not welcome inside of the building for sanitary purposes.
